Default plat 650 $82 til 8/27

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-272-_-Product

Had a discussion at EVGA FORUMS about the lack of high quality PSU for a single card system. EVGA starts at 750 and goes up to 1600 watt, which is fine for SLI systems and massive top of the line cards. However, many people could get by with a 450-550 watt PSU for an average single card system.

ANYHOW...here is a good deal pushing down to 650 watts anyway.
PLAT, Modular, and $82 delivered after all MIR.

MIR good til 8/30
20% off list good till 8/27

Well, why would EVGA sell PSU's for single card systems or even encourage such a thing? After all...

Well, I was thinking one discrete card in addition to the integrated.

326 watts isn't nothing...

But 450 to 550 watts of quality power for the average system will handle it fine.

My theory is that promoting a high quality 550watt PSU, over an average quality 750 would help their bottom line through a reduction of bogus RMA of graphics cards that do require consistent clean power to perform optimally.
