All righty then. I'll go on with the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823201051 and pray. Hell if it's too bad, I'll just RMA it I guess.

Well, so far it looks to be alive and kicking. All the keys work, and all the features do too. Backlight, polling rate change, key rollover - everything seems fine. I didn't think n-key rollover was possible over USB... They must be using some shenanigans like having a buffer onboard that stores all the keypresses, then releasing them to the USB port in rapid sequence, abusing the high polling rate to make it look like n-key... Not sure, though. I do like the feel of it, actually more so than my friend's QF TK with MX Blacks.
I wonder if it's able to function over a USB -> PS/2 adapter (strangely, I don't have one handy right now)...

I want to say, yes, it will work over PS2.
As for NKRO-USB, you're very close to what they use. The only difference is that it distributes more key presses per poll than a normal board instead of the artificial limit of 6 + 4 modifiers. If anything, the backlight LEDs may die. That's just the nature of the beast, it effects many boards due to the LEDs used being highly sensitive to the circuit.

Ah I forgot to ask, what about their Rosewill Mechanical Keyboard RK-9000I ? Is that still made by a quality place ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823201052 it comes with Blues though, but still.. it can't be any worse than a cheap walmart V7 I got for $12 and typing on now ? Are blues really bad for when you are gaming like everyone makes them out to be ?

Blues are a subjective matter though. I have muscle memory to where the activation point on a switch is and hover on it as tight as possible. Due to Blue's high release point, it makes it very hard for me to follow the tactile feel to double-tap quicker. Browns, Reds, Blacks, & Clears do not present that issue for me. On the other hand, many folks do not find that issue with blues. Some do think the clicking gets annoying though.

Well I got the monoprice keyboard and boy is it loud. I'm not sure about it just yet. I think it may require a little more force than the other keyboard I had. Maybe I should find a Cherry MX red keyboard instead ?
