Default Chieftec GPS-500C (passive PSU)

Just came across this on TPU: http://www.techpowerup.com/176951/Ch...er-Supply.html

Is that the... Super Flower Golden Silent? If so - damn, I can only hope that Chieftec gets PSUs made by SF more often. That'd be sweet Super Flower PSUs are a bit too hard to find in Europe (aside from Germany).

Nice.. weird though, kinda' contrasting with the rest of Chieftec's lineup, I wonder if Christoph had something to do with this (Chieftec = Listan), maybe we'll see other nice units coming from them.

Well... it's definitely contrasting with the rest of the GPS series. I mean - quite a while ago there were GPS AA/AB (Delta), which were later replaced with GPS A (Delta again)... and now there is GPS A8 (which - as far as I can tell - is just like Chieftec GPA, but with longer cables), and the new passive GPS C... which doesn't have anything to do with any of those.
It doesn't make much sense at all.

I doubt that.

Since Listan is just a distributor/importeur for Chieftec cases. And they don't sell any chieftec PSU that doesn't come with a case.

Check this out (since you've mentioned low availability for SF units in EU), just came across it on OCN, the first time I see Rosewill units listed in Europe, the prices are ridiculously good aslo, especitially since we're talking about Finland, which is like the second most expensive European market after Norway.

That's pretty neat too, though I don't think they'll be as widely available as Chieftec.
