Cmaris' has some of the most comprehensive tests but his Vreg is always looser than everyone elses'.

With that said, the efficiency results from everyone makes it seem like this unit could go Titanium if they were able to pull up the 10% load.
Cmaris showed around 85% @ 100w which is pretty impressive still, considering that's only a 8.33r% load on the unit.

Well I just as well throw another one in the mix.

Bare with me, I made a 16hr drive this morning to get home and get this live ASAP. If I have any errors, please kindly notify me and I will fix them after some much needed sleep.

I also started a thread for mine. We probably should get this one back on Jon's intended topic .

Please tell them that the parallel line look doesn't work for Chrysler and it doesn't work for PSUs either

I agree.

Dark Power Pro 10 1200W = 9x PCIE
Dark Power Pro 10 850W = 7x PCIE

Here are my load test results:

http://www.corsair.com/us/blog/load-...igital-atx-psu

Keep in mind that I increased the scope shot's resolution to 10mV, as opposed to our usual 50mV, so we could actually see the ripple.

nice dude, a static 12v is a sight to behold

Because each connection can create a little bit of resistance that can result in a drop in efficiency, it's not unusual for a fully modular power supply to have slightly lower efficiency results. The Super Flower is semi-modular, but when it is tested for efficiency, none of the modular cables are used in testing; only the fixed cables are used.

do you think this would be the main reason we still see power supplies with fixed 24pin/8pin connectors? does cost a play a role too? what about size constraints? the superflower was indeed very efficient, just barely under 92% at low loads. all of the psus seemed to do really well, with the enermax lagging behind slightly.

I don't think people are putting out semi-modular PSU's just to pass 80 Plus. It certainly doesn't help the customer in any way since the load on the 24-pin is so minimal in a high end system when compared to the PCIe connectors.

I think the it has to do with cost more than anything. Making the 24-pin modular is not a cheap feature to add.

Specklebeard?
More like Lackbeard. He doesn't have any facial hair.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm the only beard with facial hair. My analogy sucks.
