Default Lepatek Introduces 2 New Units to the B Series

http://www.lepatek.com/eng/product_c...1/21/#produkte

700w & 800w units; following the tradition of the 750w & 850w units, these are modular designs from Sirfa.

What's interesting here is that they're not what we're used to (G14C) but instead a newer double forward design that utilizes DC-DC on the secondary.

105*C Jap Main Cap, but the secondary is most likely Teapo (they didn't say what brand, so an assumption on my part given what High Power likes.)

Other than that, the units present some crazy 20-80% efficiency.

Even at 100% load they're edging in on 80+ Silver territory but the 10% load efficiency doesn't look all that good.

These are guessed to be CWT, possibly another PUQ.

They're changing fast.

Modular Connector panel is different this time around and the back makes them look more like a Sirfa unit as well.

We'll see, but the efficiency definitely doesn't match up with PUQ; that has also been an area that Sirfa excels in.

Corsair's GS800 (the new one) is ~2% less efficient at both 20% & 100% loads.

Based on a review or 80 Plus doc? Remember, it's not uncommon to send a unit to 80 Plus with 200mm long cables.

I'm going off 80+ but Lepa has been straight up in the past with their units.
So I wouldn't really have a reason to distrust them.
