Retiring the SunMoon

I was looking at some of the newer Chroma load testers and they can test up to 2400 watts ! Trying to get a quote from Chroma this week, and if it's not insanely expensive, I thought we might take up a collection to help these guys continue their work. What do you guys think ?

Its a Chroma so its going to be expensive, need a custom harness, and 2400w isn't such a big deal given I can't find 2400w PSU's

no, bgut the sunmoon only goes to 1200 right, and there are lots of those and soon 1500 watt supplies. I am getting a qoute on the harness and all ..I think it is the harness...hehe

TBH, I'd rather use an SM-8800 than any Chroma. Or a comparable FastAuto or Techred.

well what if we got you a newer sunmoon, just trying to see if anyone is interested because it seems the newer psu are picking on your sm-8000, either we need a new one or trained commando squirrels to chassisguard it or something. How is Mr. Fugi doing btw...?

I have an SM-268... there is no 8000

The 8800 can get up to 1800W loading at 230V, which is plenty.

Mr. Fuji is fine. Still getting the hang of about a billion more settings than I was used to on the old Nikon.
