I use the TT Kandalf case.
It has rear exhaust: 1 x 120mm and 1 x 92mm (alongside the vertical PSU fan) 1 x 92mm fan top blowhole. I have 2 x 120mm front fans on two HDD cages. The air from my PSU is cold.....browsing, gaming etc. I was reading on another forum where JonnyGuru noticed that a psu was not working as it should....i.e the psu fan was not part of the airflow and not sucking air out of the case because of another exhaust fan near it. Out of the case the psu blew air out, inside the case it was sucking it in Just wondered on thoughts as to whether this extra 92mm fan up with the psu is really worth it ?

Well, it certainly seems like you have more negative pressure than positive.
The Kandalf is the convertible case based on the CasEdge, right? So you have 5.25" bays all of the way down the front and those 120's could go anywhere, right? Where are the 120's? All of the way at the bottom?

On most cases that could be a problem but not on the Armor/Kandalf series and here's why: The top of the case is perforated with huge holes in the oval atop the case, the blowhole fan is inside a solid section of case roof inside that oval and due to the openings on that solid section of case it's damn near useless. To make it function better take a 1/8" drill bit and drill out all the holes there over that fan in the oval. There are a few screws and 4 clips holding that oval on, remove the screws and push the clips outward and pop that oval off then drill it and reinstall. As far as pressure/suction in those cases goes, that perforated metal in the roof will allow air to travel into or out of that case as it needs to. The PSU will never invert airflow and since that hole is right above the PSU it's likely it'll be getting room temperature air in the event that you have more exhaust airflow than intake airflow.

Thanks for the reply.
Yep, I can move the hdd cages, opticals and floppy drive bay anywhere up/down in the case. The case came with one 3 bay hdd cage + fan, and I have since bought another cage + fan and removed the top 3 bay hdd cage that sat in front of the PSU fan. ATM I have the floppy cage in the bottom slot, then the two 3 bay hdd cages are mounted above that, the next is spare, then two opticals and the top slot has the odds and ends tray. So the front two fans are roughly in the middle of the case, sucking through 6 grilled 5.25" bays. I may well mod the top blow hole as suggested by madmat...........I have a weeks hol's coming up I have one 120mm exhaust fan, and removed the 2nd 92mm fan alongside the psu. So I have two front, one rear, and one top fan. She doesn't seem to get that hot. Temps reported are cpu 29C (idle) sys 38C and PWM's 38C
