I am currently thinking of purchasing a temp video card while I wait for the 8900's. Thing is if im gonna buy a temp card then I will need to have a use for it afterwards... the only use I have is either in my media center which then the card has to be a single slot solution and run on a shuttle 250watt PSU... or be able to run in my work computer which is a Dell GX620 with a 305w PSU 18A on the 12v rail.
So basically the question is... looking at power requirements what is the best video card I can put in my dell work computer... The rest of its components are 2.8 Smithfield 1 HD 2 x 1 GB sticks of kingston ram cd-rom That's it. I was thinking of just getting a 7900GTO as I doubt a 8800GTS would work... |
