Smile Introducing Myself

Hello JG forums! I'm Jeremy Moses, and I've come here hoping to interact with fellow PC enthusiasts and maybe learn something about PSU's that I don't already know from the reviews I have read on here.

About me: I'm a 32 year old man from Cincinnati, OH (though relocating to Oklahoma City at the turn of the year). I happen to have Spina Bifida, which is the most common neural tube defect in the US. (More info on Spina Bifida can be found via the Spina Bifida Association of America at spinabifidaassociation.org.) Although SB has resulted in me being paralyzed below the waist, it has not stopped me from pursuing my dreams. I am, as all of us are, a BIG TIME computer geek. Of interest to me are meteorology, videography (both shooting and editing video), and community advocacy (specifically in regards to wheelchair accessibility and transit).

My computer build: I built my computer for the first time in 2012. My original build included an Antec Earthwatts EA-650 (certified 80+ Bronze at the time), an ECS A885GM-A2 motherboard, 2TB Seagate HDD, and an AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition CPU. The processor, hard drive and power supply are so far the only parts that have made the transition to my latest rebuild, done last January when my computer was failing to power on. I diagnosed it as a memory bus problem and a swap to an ASRock mobo was done as a fix. However, I am on the prowl for a new PSU, which brought me to JG's reviews.

So there you are! Looking forward to chatting about PSU's and more!

Greetings!
Meteorology is a rare hobby, it's cool to hear about it.
