Default WTF! Server Downtime.

My apologies for the server downtime.

After I left for my short weekend getaway, I got notified that the new host was upgrading our PHP software and that I just test the site out to make sure it would work. Unfortunately, I had to cut my weekend short and drop the wife off and then make the 2hr drive home to attempt to fix the site.

Sorry it took me so long. In the process of trying to resolve the issue I found some files that shouldn't have been on the server. I think I got all those cleaned out. Between working on the issue and getting hammered with over 75,000 emails telling me the damn site was down I managed to get myself blocked, ARGH!!!

I do believe everything is back to normal, if you notice any issues please let me know.

Time to get some sleep.

There's some issues with the forum software.

If I try to use some bbcode like url tags or img after hitting reply the forum scripts crash (you get internal server error 500) ... only these plain text messages get by.
See the pastebin link in my reply in the STX160 project thread, i even tried to sanitize that long post removing the bbcode yet it still crashes the forum when i try to post it...

Did they hard reboot the server in the process of updating the PHP and corrupt the database?

@ Aibohphobia - No idea what they did on their end. Luckily the db didn't get jacked this time. It just took me a while to sort the issue and made the modifications.

Wolf posted his link after the site was up. Here I have both the url and the img tags working. What tags specifically are you using that's giving you there error?

@mariush was trying to post this: https://pastebin.com/B9ghh7qm

I can replicate the issue, pasting that text here and even trying to preview it causes a 500 internal server error page.

The problem seems to be one of the opening parenthesis characters "(", stripping them out stops the error.
