Default Component Recommendations

I have been looking around and asking people for their advice on building a computer and u have gotten many off topic discussions so i found this site.

My new computer will have the following specifications:

Gigabyte 965P-S3 = $155

Core 2 Duo E4300 = $235

Cooler Master iGreen 600w = $157

5.1 Ausdigy value = $49

Cooler Master Cavilier T-05 = $108

320MB Video Card = $463
2GB kit (Two 1gb's) a-data 800 ram = $225

It will cost me $999 AU without the video card. I know i have already said will get a Cooler Master iGreen 600w but i was wondering is it too much.

If anyone knows a lot about computer hardware could you please recommend me a good Video card that has high bit and is pretty cheap because i'm only 13 and i doubt i can afford the 320Mb video card.

These prices are all in Australian dollars and the $999 includes construction fee.

But i'm not sure about the case could someone tell me a good "Gaming" case that isn't expensive and comes with NO PSU.

Thank you in advance.

I am sure you can do better on the ram front. Just get an OCZ value 5400 2gig kit instead, that will really open some doors for you. Everything else seems great for a nice budgjet and OC comp

Construction fee

Come-on Mate! Build it yourself. The Land of OZ is about DIY.

Mark and read this site http://www.mechbgon.com/ Note what mech has to say about setting up your OS. He writes for MS and knows his stuff.

Oh! Welcome to the forums. A couple of decent sized Foster's ought to get you thinking straight.

No no no no......the Fosters in OZ is way worse than the Fosters we get here that is brewed by Labatt in Canada. It is real shit over there.....made the mistake of trying some while I was there.
