Just saw the very first canvas wrap to be ordered through my Zenfolio account... sister ordered one for her daughter.

I definitely picked the right horse when I went with these guys. The MPix lab people really know what they're doing. Having trouble believing something that good came out of my own camera.

Well, I got my camera. It was/is too late/dark/cold to go outside but I like it so far. I'm sure my photos suck right now but it's my first time using anything other than a cheap POS P&S. (piece of sh!t point and shoot)... and I left it on Auto mode or Auto w/flash disable. I think all of these are AF as well. I did some work with Manual focus and some turned out alright. But I shake, a lot

Feedback? (besides IT SUCKS!)

note: 6016x4000 is too big for most people's lame ass internet. so, I made them smaller. And the forum made them even smaller.

Thanks again to OkW for the recommendation. I think it was a great choice.

Now you just need to learn how to get the most from it

As with anything else: practice, practice, practice... don't let it become one of those cameras that show up on eBay after a year with only 3000 shutter actuations. I've got 13,000 on mine now.

Here's what I got from mine this morning:

No, I am WAY too into this to ever sell this camera (unless, in a few years, I upgrade to a better/newer one, though I doubt it).

How do I view shutter actuations?

And epic photo btw

Actually, those shots are quite decent - much better than I could ever get from any of my cameras in low light with no flash. FWIW, the 2 cameras I have access to ATM are:

Pentax Optio 60 - Won't even focus in low light, and lacks manual focus altogether.

Canon Powershot SX100 IS - Focuses OK in low light and has manual focus, but the pictures are grainy, unless you lower the shutter speed, which makes it very sensitive to movement and unusable with my shaky hands.

IKR, I can't figure out why I shake like a f*cking 90 year old. LOL.
