Default Antec BP350 and HTPC

With some spare parts available, I'm putting together a Home Theatre PC, with Athlon quad core, and 5770. I assume the BP350 will be plenty to run it?

I checked with Phae's PSU calc, and it only starts with the 380w Antec, I'm hoping the simple fact the BP350 isn't available in 120v areas is the sole reason for the absence?

I'm not buying EK GPU blocks ever again. (One GPU killed)

I have a friend who just received a HighPower 350W PSU sample made by CWT (yes, it looks like Enermax opened a new trend) and he tested it with an i7 950 + GTX 470. No problems.
So I'd say that you'll be perfect fine with your Basiq 350.

Very good unit, should be plenty.

BP350 is available in 120v & 220v areas but it lacks PFC, and cost around $40 when you could grab a CX 400 (at the time) or a Rosewill Green Series 430w for the same price and they were more competent (and quieter) units.

^This, just realized I was thinking about the VP350/P when I replied and not the BP350/P... don't get the BP350, it's an old, weak FSP unit... the VP350P(which is available in UK) is A Lot better, probably the best 350W on the market..

If you can find an S12II Bronze 380 for a reasonable price then it's good competition, but most of the time it costs $70 or more, which is what the cost of a modular 400w S12II Bronze unit. (Antec & PC Power)

The Bulk/OEM versions of(pretty much) the entire Seasonic mainstream lineup(HT/AT/ET) got listed all over Europe at pretty good prices, though I wouldn't take an S12IIB 380 over a VP350P

The low output market in EU is well populated at the moment, the Huntkey 300G P3DN, Silver Power SS400(they still sell those even though they're no longer listed on their site, I don't really get what's happening with Tagan/SP), Silencer MKIII 400 is also available here for cheap, and LC-Power came out with the Silver Shield 300(GreatWall GW-4000S(88+)) which sells for <40 euros and did pretty well here despite the dubious Nicon caps.

Thankfully for you guys.

US has VP350, CX430v2, & RG430-S12 in that sub $50 market. That's about it.

You can find the MKIII 400w & HCG-400M for $60 though.
