Antec just released a new watercooling kit, a worthy opponent of Corsair's H70 and H50.
![]() Dealing with Jalapeno's full power (345.1W) More details here. |

I like seeing graphs per Watts dissipated
makes for easier planning with one's own system

Isn't it exactly the same rad as in H50?

There aren't many ways to make a cooler like this look significantly different. Methinks. The H50 and H70 look quite alike as well.

It's an Asetek Gen3 cold plate for the LCLC Solution; (H70 is Gen2) and the slim Radiator from Asetek.
H50 & H70 are made by Asetek. EDIT: If anyone is wondering, the H60 is made by CoolIT and is based on a redesigned ECO ALC Last edited by Tator Tot; 02-21-2011 at 10:18 AM. |

Take a look also here
http://www.asetek.com/blog/204-quest...uary-2011.html it gives the three main differences of Kuhler compared to H50, H70 For anyone that will buy Kuhler to use it on a high overclocked i7 or similar Wattage processor I highly recommend to install a second fan (using a Y cable to connect both fans to Kuhler's fan controller). Temperatures will drop significantly and the life of the water pump will be extended too

Does Antec list what the max current it's controller can handle?
You used a Xigmatek fan for the second one; it's only ~0.32A IIRC. So the controller didn't even have 1A running through it. |

no Antec does not reveal many details about Kuhler. In fact there is lots of secrecy around it.

Asking never hurts. I wouldn't say their is secrecy around it though; they're open about the OEM of the cooler and details about it (like using the Gen3 plate, though that's half marketing to steal away Corsair fanboys as well.) |
