My PC won't POST or get a video signal unless I reset the CMOS right before turning it on. Also it won't restart, same thing happens - black screen, no POST.
I thought it might be the CMOS battery. I tried it without the battery and using a battery from another board I have laying around. Same thing happened. Any ideas? |

Do they even matter? It's a 3800+ X2, Abit AN8 32X, 7900GS, 1 HD, 1 DVD-ROM, Seasonic 500W.
I think it's pretty safe to say the motherboard is starting to go. I've had other problems with it such as the onboard LAN not working anymore and the monitor not getting any video signal in the BIOS. |
