Default Pick My power supply!

Hello i am building a CROSSFIRE system and i want to have well enough power, my spec are below. Pick the best power supply for me that is around $130 i think i allready found the best one for that price and it is the Corsair TX750W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006 but if you think you can find better try.

1.) Is that a really good power supply? best you can get for 130 bucks?

2.) it is only sli certified, but will it be good for crossfire?

Core 2 duo 2.66ghz
Corsair dominator DDR2 1066mhz
Two Asus 3870 512mb crossfire
74gb 10,000 rpm Raptor
Diamond 7.1 extreme sound pci card

Yeah, that'll do it, it's a very good power supply.

jonny explained the whole certification thing around here somewhere, they can't have both the Nvidia and ATI logo on the same box. It it's certified for one, it should have no problems with the other.

Anyway, if a PSU is certified it means that is will work, but that does not mean that a PSU that is not certified will not work, and this PSU has enough power, amps and PCI Express connectors for Crossfire.

Right. The license agreement for SLI states that the Crossfire logo can't be on the same box. So companies that get Crossfire certification have to resort to a second SKU in order to display the other logo.

there are a bunch out there that are pretty much of equal quality, but all are pretty much in the exact same price range.

Suprisingly newegg has the best price I can find around the net for the TX750.
