Default 800W from Muskin

Does this look like an 800W PSU to anyone? Seams to be a bit sparse on the internals don't you think?

A friend of mine paid a visit to Muskin to see what they where working on and they showed him this unit claiming it to be an 800W PSU made by Topower. I was just shocked at how much room was inside the case for an 800W unit. Guess I'll learn more once the test sample of that unit arrives.

Same as the BFG R800WPSU and the ABS/Tagan ITZ800 and BZ800.

It'll be efficient, rated at 40°C and will put out what it's supposed to put out. But it's group regulated so it will crossload like a mother.

I see a couple minor differences with the BFG unit, but yeah... group regulated 800W Topower.

Different rev of the board. This is the one where they soldered the +5VSB transformer on straight.

Yeah - the vents on the secondary caps look like Panasonic too, but they can't be actual Pannies. Probably some knockoff only Topower knows about. Panaphonics maybe

Ouch.

Personally, I think this is a VERY early version of this PSU. Let's hope that the final version will be....revised quite a bit.

Panaphonics, LOL. When they use Samson caps on Tagan's i wonder whether it is said in the manual that the user shouldn't shave their underarms hair to prevent any power loss on their unit.
