Default Fan replacement for noisy FSP psu

    Hi Guys,
Basically i've got an FSP 600 GLN (i think, currently away from home) that seems to ramp up and stay at 100% speed no matter the load.. quite annoying. I'm planning on removing the fan and inserting an Antec Tri cool at low or mid rpm.

    The PC has:

    1x PCIe USB 3.0 Card
2x PCIe x4 Intel Gbit 4 port and one 2 port pro 1000
Gigabyte H67 board with 8GB DDR3, onboard video
    I5 2320
    2 Agility 3 120GB SSDs
Its basically a network bridge and vm test box.

That is it, all said and done less than 300w by a fair margain likely.. Surely the air flow will suffice?

    It should be.
Intel i7-2600k with an XSPC Raystorm water block, 4x4GB Corsair Dominator, SLi Evga-GTX560Ti-448 FTWs, Asrock Extreme4 Gen3, Crucial M4 256GB SSD, Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD, powered by a Silverstone Strider+ 850 PSU in a Silverstone TJ-07BW case.
I'm not buying EK GPU blocks ever again. (One GPU killed)

Thanks for the reply. Is there an inherent problem with these FSP psus?
I had a 700w Epsilon that did just about the same thing as well with nothing much on load (probably a Core 2 E6600 or something and like one hard disk and maybe an X1900XTX) a few yrs ago. Been buying Corsair branded products for the last few yrs with no issues, so i assume they use good oems.

IDK about the particular ones you are using, but I've never had such problems (inherent high fan speeds) with any that I've purchased. Lately those would be the SFX sized units with 80mm fans, so high fan speeds would be super noticeable in those, but in the past I've used various of their OEM units with reasonable success.
