Default EVGA Announces NEX SuperNOVA 650w & 750w Gold models (+750w Bronze model)

    http://www.evga.com/articles/00709/

    NEX Gold 750w = $140
    NEX Gold 650w = $120
    NEX Bronze 750w = $100

Now all that's left is to see how they perform.

Feature wise, they look good though. The Gold models are fully modular, while the bronze model is mostly modular.
All Japanese caps, dual ball bearing fan, 5 Year Warranty, multi-rail OCP (for those of you with tight anuses), & a 50*C power rating.

The fan could be a make or break, if the speed is low enough it shouldn't be annoying; but I'm pretty sure I know that design and at high speed it's got an annoying audible pitch to it

They could have been like BeQuiet of old, and gone for a custom platform. For the price, I somewhat doubt that though.

It's most likely Aurum since it's so cheap, more so since Aurum DC-DC doesn't line up on the EMI filter.

The Bronze unit is definitely Raider though.

I thought that Phaedrus already confirmed it was FSP Aurum based?

Couldn't remember for sure or not.

I wouldn't want to be definitive unless I had some proof (internals, product page saying ACRF, Phaedrus, etc.)

He also wasn't online, otherwise I would have asked him.

The initial speculation was Xilenser (same as P10 from BeQuiet!), but looking at the exhaust grill, it matches the Aurum/CM better... though it's not matching either of the platforms perfectly. If it is indeed Xilenser, then the prices are good and they have a really nice product/package, if it's Aurum/CM it's ridiculous.
