    Default Zalman ZM500-LE intro - @TPU

    Whoa, what a POS.

And somehow I doubt it's FSP - transformer markings don't match.

    Caps don't match up either.
FSP loves Capxon & Teapo on their budget units.

    Su'scon, (possibly) a Capxon, & Fujyhu's it looks like.

I'd say super flower. They were the last ones where I saw Fuhyyju Caps. But I don't know if they ever used Sus'con. Thats a brand you may find in some HEC, Seasonic and AFAIR Enhance units.

But Fuhyyju and Sus'con is something new. Maybe it's just some smaller company no one ever really heard about. And the design looks pretty old too. So I don't think the maker of this particular PSU is someone we know of...

SuperFlower likes Capxon & CEC Holdings for caps, especially on the secondary.

I think those caps are made by Nicon. So who knows about their quality...

I agree, the caps look like BH and Nicon. The last time I saw that combination of capacitors was in a Keerda Electronics built Logisys.

Keerda loves BH caps. I'm curious to know more about this Zalman PSU

It's build by Hui Cheng Electronic. Look at the logo on the PCB.

Never heard of them before. It looks like they do have some 80+ bronze units (like http://www.plugloadsolutions.com/psu...00W_Report.pdf). The Zalman is obviously not one of them, though.
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards
