Vreg results were disappointing to say the least. Even on the Aurum platform.

Though, you didn't mention if you tried to check the 24pin cable to see if anything was loose.

I don't think loose pins are the problem for the lousy v. reg.
Also the increased ripple compared to the original Aurums is due to the non-Jap caps used and the lack of the extra filtering caps on the modular PCB.

Finally the bridges used in this PSU are two 1506 (Gabe has the photo correct but the text description wrong).

Pretty poor showing. If 3.3V gets its own choke, it can't be blamed on group regulation. Sth's not right.

Hope at least fan controller is better.

I expected the worse ripple results due to the Teapo's.

Though, the 3.3v performance is a bit too lacking to think heat is the only cause. Wolf's had the issue of pins being loose in the 24pin cable in the past and caused bad readings.

I myself have had that issue before as well, trying to get V-reads on parts while Sub-Zero.

    I've got a E9 CM 480W here.
I really like the cooling system. The fan is quiet. I've got a straight power E8 400W, too, but with some load the E9 CM 480W is even better.
The problem is: even harddrives like my samsung f3 are extremly loud compared to the psu.

Unfortunately my PC can just produce a load of 410W, so I can't do any full load tests. 3,3V@410W load and 22 degree celsius in my room is still ok (3,20V).
