    Default Another Help Me Decide

I've been looking for a while now and have found a few that seems alright but I have no experience with purchasing power supplies before. I really wouldn't like to have to return stuff from online since it's such a hassle and would like to minimize that chance.

    XFX 450 Watt Core Edition

    OCZ Fatal1ty 550W

Corsair Builder Series CX V2 500-Watt

    Antec Green Energy-Efficient EA500D

Just looking to run an HD 6850 with it so ~500w should be fine (Though you guys probably know better) and my price range is ~$60 which I know isn't much.

Preferrably from Amazon with the free shipping thing I don't order from Newegg because they charge me crazily for shipping and the PSU alone would be about $20 for shipping.

    Please and thank you.

IMHO XFX is the best from the bunch.

For a single 6850 get an Antec EarthWatts Green 380D or 430D, they should be even cheaper than what you listed and they're solid units.

Alright thank you, I'll take your word for it. I won't have to hassle with any rebates either.

I see in some reviews that even in higher end systems, overclocked, and running in furmark they only get up to 327 total.

Edit: Oh and one more thing, since those don't come with a power cord, is it safe to use the one I'm already using?

Oh... actually, this one is even better than the more expensive one
X2B9 is a new revision of this this PSU. Contrary to what you might think new revision doesn't bring any quality improvement, and furthermore X2B9 has less connectors than XXB9.

Just wanted to give an update. After 2 weeks of the order disappearing from Amazon, and the 3rd one actually shipping they arrived.

There was a little difficulty getting everything into my tiny case, but in the end it's done.

Running everything fine, no problems. Idles at about 45C and 65C under load. A lot better than my G210 Idling at 60C and 75C at load.

    Thanks again everyone.
