Default which 500w PSU? OCZ ModXtreme 500W or Corsair CX500

My friend's PSU blew out a few days ago and would like to replace the unit. Here's the spec:

    GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS4
    Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache
    GEFORCE 8800GT PCIE 256MB DDR3
    HITACHI Deskstar 5K3000 2TB
Antec Tower case with 2 fans

We're not too computer savvy so please let us know if you need more info. We're also open to suggestions so something that's under ~$60 will be fine too!

    Thanks!

Antec EarthWatts EA-650 GREEN @ 45$ at newegg, A Lot of PSU for the money, utterly overkill for your system but impossible to pass given the ridiculous low price

Most likely not, my friend actually got this comp from his brother over two years ago. He's pretty sure it's out of warranty =/

    He had Corsair VX450.

All Corsair VX450s are still in warranty last I checked. 5 year warranty, and they've only been out for 4 years.
It's my PSU in a box!
