Default PSU fan simply doesn't spin....

I have an old Antec TruePower 2.0 430w unit here (actual model number: TPII-430) and the fan simply won't spin. It's not seized up. I opened the unit and replaced the fan, and the replacement fan doesn't spin either. I hooked it up to a digital multimeter and all the voltages were fine. Yeah, I know a DMM isn't the best way to test a PSU, but it's all I have right now. I hooked it up to a PC I use to test older parts (like AGP cards, SDRAM & DDR memory- it has both types on board) and it powered it just fine. I'm wondering: why won't the fan spin up? Is it a cheap/easy fix? I realize that a unit this old probably isn't worth repairing, but if it's easy and less than $10 or so, why not?

    THX!

(I'd probably just use this PSU as a "bench" unit to power questionable mobo's, CD/DVDs, etc, so I guess the fan isn't crucial but if for some reason the unit is going to stay on for more than 10 min or so, it would be nice if the fan worked )

Replace it with a 120 mm case fan.

If you have power at proper voltage to the fan I would suspect something is shutting down the fan (temp sensor/controler). SO.. power a fan full speed taking power from any 12 volt external source and ground, ie molex/sata plug wires?
I think that's what John Doe means too.

Hmmm.... install a std 120mm case fan and run the connector to a molex.... good idea! I didn't check the voltage at the fan connector inside the PSU, maybe I'll check that tomorrow....
