Yeah, looks like BS to me as well (considering the source). I mean, these were the guys who said TCCD RAM will become a collectors item in a month...but we all know how that went.

Ignore all the BS online. You'll go nuts reading it, I swear.
Just wait for the official trustworthy reviews, AFAIK 12th/13th May there will be one or two out.

I may post stuff from there, but heck I believe none of it. I ask those who have the cards instead or 2 AMD worker mates I grew up with.

Please stay away from any site HIT attractors at such moments. You know, come to my site, more hits, more cash, more fame>>> i.e. ex-Inq "Graphics Editor" Fuad

750W is not pulled for one HD2900XT with a C2D, 2GB RAM, a HDD, an optical (etc).

And how much the cards can effectively draw in a desktop system, NO one knows, not even AMD PR yet. Why? Because the software and drivers are not even available yet that maximize performance on those cards. But their engineers do have a much better idea than someone without a card who doesn't knows how to push it.

Remember the biggest problem they have is drivers ATM.

    No, it's two 2x3-pin and two 2x4-pin.

    2x3-pin = 6-pin.
    2x4-pin = 8-pin.

In case anyone is still worried by the 750W thing, even FUDzilla is now reporting that a single-R600 system will run very comfortably with a 500W Silverstone Element PSU:
