    Default Integrated Power Meter

From this thread, KAW meters are not accurate for measuring PSU power consumption due to APFC effects.

If I wanted to integrate a power meter into my PSU using an Arduino for sampling purposes, what sensor would you use instead of KAW?

I can measure DC or AC but the sensors need to be as small as possible. I'm modding a SS 250SU which is 150mm(5.9")*81.5mm(3.2")*40.6mm(1.6").

Absolute accuracy is not essential but closer is better.

Oleg did something similar a while back, it should have some useful information.

Thanks shinji. I also found these sensors at Sparkfun.

I have also bought many sensors etc. from Sparkfun. Things that I could not find anywhere in Europe.
    Great store..

Could be but I'm hoping I can use the INA169 used in the sensor to make a custom board.

Cashed in on Sparkfun's freeday to pick up one of the sensors to test with and also found TIs INA219 which should do me for power monitoring. Time to drag out Eagle to see how bad my design skills are.
