    Overall a very good PSU. It performed quite well in advanced transient tests and ripple was kept low in all tests. Also its efficiency was excellent, considering that we are talking for a silver rated PSU. On the other hand I had seen PSUs with better voltage regulation (e.g. 3.3V was very close to 5%).

    For those that have sensitive ears (unlike me ) even with 1270W load and 42C ambient the fan was not noisy.

    Finally, one of the few PSUs that has 8 PCIe connectors (6+2). So if you are one of the lucky ones and you have 4 hi-end VGAs under the hood, this PSU could be one of your choices.

    Quick question, why does your Title say Modu85+ when it's a Revolution85+
    Isn't Modu Series a different line from Enermax?

    Also, where's the review link?

    And those 3.3v numbers seem crazy compared to the 1050w

    AAA. My bad! I was confused with the 900 I reviewed lately.

    Thanks for the heads up. I will correct it ASAP (I can't change the title . Admins please change the title).

    3.3V was low even from test#1 (compared to no load).

    (I went to google and got the review myself)

    Yeah that 3.3v rail was already at 3.2v to start out with... crazy to think it was that low.

    It did hold in spec though. But just barely.

    It makes me wonder if their was a problem with problem with the DC-DC conversion; though both 3.3v & 5v being part of the same PCB, you would think they both would show that trend right?

    No I don't think that there was a problem since Wolf's Galaxy 1250 (exactly the same with Revo) also had a low 3.3V rail (3.2 at test#5 with 9 Amps).

    Also with no load the 3.3V was 3.326V , in test#1 3.289V and in test#6 was 3.148V. Quite a drop but still inside 5%.

    I could have sworn that I read that Enermax was supposed to have tweaked the design for better 3.3v rail performance.

    I guess I'm just insane.

    Unfortunately I don't think G.I.Joe is around anymore. (As in, with Enermax)

    Indeed, 3.470V at idle (above ATX limit!).
