BFG Warranty Inventory now on geeks.com

Something tells me some GeForce FX 5200 OC owners are gonna be really unhappy soon when they try to exercise their lifetime warranty.

If AGP under Linux wasn't in such a sorry state right now, I'd pick up a 6800GT.

There are some interesting looking Power Supplies as well.

Not sure what "direct" means for the Warranty in the listing. Hope nobody is expecting support from BFG.

Why would it not be legal if the company is closing? They can not stay open and hold stock to simply do RMA's. When closing they legally have to settle their debts as best as possible. That means selling off all of the assets and inventory.

Yeah, as long as they're not selling used inventory as new inventory, it's completely legal as far as I understand it.

Yeah, that and we don't know where Geeks got their inventory from....could be BFG, could be a distributor, could be a retailer, etc. Either way though, it isn;t what the OP and others are making it out to be from a company that is out of business.

They are screwing their faithful users. I returned my 285OC via RMA 2 months ago....

Just got back my original card with a letter regarding the liquidation of their business.

On top of it, to add insult to injury the metal on the card is bent over.



This stinks..... At least they should renumerate us in some way.

You do realize filing a lawsuit about a warranty repair from a company that is out of business is....ummm.....more than useless, right?
