    Default Brad Tries Crystal Pepsi

It would seem that some things don't age that well.

For the record, I loved this stuff when it was on the market. Hated the advertising campaign. Too much Van Halen rammed into my skull over and over.

And just for fun, Coke Blak, a drink I absolutely hated:

Was it Van Halen or Van Hagar?

Ah... Crystal Pepsi. At least Coke did have Tab Clear. That lasted for a little while.

That looks interesting, we never had it around here.We didn't have New Coke for that matter, I studied about it in college
I looked at the other videos and he talked about Pepsi Blue. Not sure if that's still available, but if you have a hangover and a dry throat from drinking beer, wine and smoking a couple of packs of cigarettes, don't drink Pepsi Blue.

Pepsi Blue was perhaps the vilest concoction I've ever tasted that came out of Pepsi. Or Coke, for that matter.

I miss Vanilla Coke as well. For a while it was everywhere, and then it was nowhere.

But Crystal Pepsi and Vanilla Coke take a back seat to New York Seltzer. I really miss that stuff.

I have to disagree with you there about Vanilla Coke.Back in college I friend of mine brought some from abroad that she let me taste it.And me, like an authentic aries that I am, I was like "what the hell is this crap".At least she appreciated that fact that I was honest.
For that matter, I don't like Coke Zero either, it's way too sweet for something that doesn't have any sugar in it.A couple of weeks ago some friends got some Cherry Coke that they were very proud of from Hungary, and unfortunately they let me taste it.I thought it was going to be like Dr Pepper, but it had way too much cherry.

Vanilla Coke was more of a once in a while thing for me - I didn't really like it a whole lot, but once in a while I just had to have it.

New York Seltzer on the other hand, that was a straight up addiction. Coke and Pepsi were dead to me around that time. All I remember about 1987 was how bloody hard it was for me to choose between root beer and black cherry NYS. I don't think I ever even tasted the other flavors. And then it was gone
