    Yep.

    I gotta stop relying on cookies and autocomplete so much.
    Maybe I'll write my passwords on a piece of paper or something...

    Could be worse. I swear Yahoo changed my account's password. Their b0rked 'password recovery wizard' is infuriatingly useless as well. I know every detail about my account except for the security question's answer and the password of course

    Ah well, didn't need to use Flickr that badly anyway

    Yeah, it's a big problem. We just don't have to use our brains -- so we don't.

    I remember when humans had to remember things like telephone numbers, too. How many of your friends could you call today, if your phone's address book were erased?

    I do everything online: bill pay, banking, etc. My big fear is that I die and my wife can't do jack shit because she can't access the bills, etc.

    Before we had digital address books we still had paper ones.

    I learned the hard way with my first cell phone back in the mid '90s when someone stole my phone. Always keep a back up in another location.
