    Arrow Corsair TX950W Review

Corsair has built a name for themselves in the power supply market for offering solid, well built, and well performing units at a price very few people can resist. Today, they're looking to do more of the same in the TX950W, a 950 watt unit with one big bad 78 ampere 12V rail.

they could have easily made this a tx1000 this could easily out match the hx1000

they could have made it shorter too..theres like inch available space at the front/back(whatever its called)...maybe it was for a modular option?

If it's a DSG why is there a 'PSH Card' on it?

They often share the same cards on different models.

This. Every PUC I've opened up had PSH labeled cards in it.

I don't even think we know what a stock DSG looks like to know if the HX series are "true" DSGs. I know I don't care. If I had a need for a non-modular ~1kW this would probably be first on my list.

No. "X" suffix means Pb and Halogen free package.

Voltage regulation on minor rails is much better than my xxx 950W based on the same CWT platform. Ripple is a lot lower too. Just curious.

Also I confirmed that this TX950W's design is THE DSG platform. In fact there's a xx 950W whose 80Plus data is identical to CWT's DSG950V (gold).
