Default Corsair new HX650, which platform?

    http://www.corsair.com/products/hx650/default.aspx
    http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=415645

The new HX650 is a single rail PSU and comes with a queit fan similar to HX750. The new HX650 will out perform the older HX620 in every test.
From the modular connector it seems like a Seasonic. Is it based on the platform of True Power New (CM6802B, DC/DC for minor rails) or the older S12E (aka SS-650HT, UCC28515, mag-amp for minor rails) platform? Both platforms can achieve 80Plus bronze now.
It's been a hard day's night and I've been working like a dog.

Yes, it is a Seasonic. Same platform as before but with a few minor revisions.

    just some curiousity
    hx620 get 6+2 pin 2X
    hx650 get 6+2 pin 4X
the jump is big. the problem is why? which one is wrong?
    is there another big difference?

Really? The Xigmatek 650, Strider 600W, TP-650 and Enermax Pro 625W all come to mind.

By the way, I was shopping for parts for my new rig, and I come across this:

Corsair TX950. It's not even listed at Corsairs site yet.

Hm, should be ATX 2.3, 4x 6+2 pin isn't that much, I'd expect 6 PCIe connectors and well the 120mm fan wich should be a 135/140mm fan, like it is on the photo.
