Default Antec CP-850 Review at Hardware Secrets

    Here.
Impressive, outstanding, phenomenal, fantastic. These are some of the adjectives we have for this power supply and yet cannot fully describe it.
OK, we know that from OW's review but always is better when are two opinions.
This was the first power supply we’ve seen achieving efficiency above 90% almost all the time, peaking 95.5%.
I still believe that's something wrong with his efficiency.

Anyway, a very good PSU indeed.

    95.5% efficiency?
He should at least admit there's something wrong instead of making such claims.

Now I'm pretty sure his Sunmoon is defective.

I only read Gabe's reviews to see the pictures and comprehensive sandwich...I mean breakdown of all the components used. Until he gets his efficiency numbers fixed and starts reporting the actual voltage regulation and ripple on all rails, I can't use his reviews as a definitive conclusion on any PSUs.

Holy... With a solid 10% difference in max eff. between OWs review and this one, bells should have rung.

Of course Murphy's Law is true and we always find something wrong after we publish reviews. There is definetely something wrong with the efficiency numbers from all our recent power supply reviews, either the built-in wattmeter in our load tester or our AC wattmeter is defective. We are investigating this right now in order to determine what is wrong and fix all reviews that may be affected by this problem. So far we also don't know which reviews were affected. We'll post a follow-up here as soon as we discover more. Thanks for the understanding.

I'm pretty sure his Sunmoon was like this when he got it. Gabe's first review with it had the Silencer 610 hitting 88%.

Maybe, could be why some of his units that should have died did not.....and why so many pass the 110% level
