Arrow Enermax Revolution 85+ 850W Review

I've looked at the flagship line of Enermax power supplies twice now in the Revolution 85+ 1050W unit and the Galaxy Evo 1250W unit. Today, I'm looking at the baby of the series in a unit that promises all the excellence of its bigger siblings in a package intended for those who don't need quite so much power.

Come on in, and we'll find out how this 850 watt unit compares against its big brothers.

Man... with everything I had going on last week I thought this would never be ready.

Ripple suppression is about the same. The Revo seems to be a tad better in regulation and of course it is more efficient. But regulation for both units doesn't compare to the Antecs or even the tx850.

So yeah, the Revo seems to be a little better than the M12D.

    SG-850 OWNS Revo850 owns M12D-850. haha

I'm just curious why Enermax kept those diodes anyway.

I feel sorry for the guy who has to hand solder all those doides into every Revolution sold he must be doing hundreds of them a day, unless they are only fitted to the review samples?

I would be interested in seeing one tested without the doides to see what effect they have.

I don't think Enermax is selling hundreds a day

My sample doesn't have those diodes and... nothing has changed.
You can read OKW's review of Galaxy Evo 1250W.
