Arrow Enermax Galaxy Evo 1250W Review

Shortly after I completed my review of the Enermax Revolution 85+, the folks at Enermax asked me a simple question: would I like to have a look at a 1250W unit from a new line intended to make up for the absence of a Revolution 85+ 1250W model in the North American market?

Naturally, I said yes. They then sent me the 80 Plus Bronze certified Galaxy Evo 1250W. Come on in and read all about it.
First ever unit to get tested with the three new auxiliary loads

The first time we see these new loads all fired up
It's been a hard day's night and I've been working like a dog.

Heh - those things were barely half loaded yet at 102A

The Kill-A-Watt was particularly useless this time... it was consistently wrong, especially in tests 5 and CL2. Thank goodness for that Brand meter.

J.O, the 80 Plus numbers are done at room temp... you might want to use my cold test results instead.

    OKW at page 2,

The 12V combined rail does pretty good here, with the spike stopping at just over 10V. But the real awesomeness is in the 5VSB scope shot, where the spike came and went below 3.5V
pls correct before i share this with the other guys

***this is really good stuff, when i get around 4ssd their 5v supply would be just uber clean

Correct what? Each scope division is 5V, so my numbers are already correct.

Thanks OW. As usual a perfect review for a perfect PSU.
I'm happy that I live to see a 9.9 score for a PSU and a second 10 for performance after Signature. It must be an awesome PSU.
Thanks again and enjoy your new monster test gear. 130A.

Just think...if had been a smooth matte black finish, it would have been the first perfect 10

I actually really like the look of it, although I like the red accents on the Revolution 85+ a little more.
