    Default faulty psu or ok?

i just built a htpc for my uncle with a amd 2.7ghz x2 on asus m3a78-em mobo using onboard 780g video, 1tb hd, bluray drive, 2x2gb ddr2, and a few fans is all thats hooked up to an antec earthwatts 430w psu. i only have software (hw monitor, cpuz, speedfan, etc) to measure voltages but they are all consistant. vdimm is stable, 3v rail is stable with 3.18-3.33v, but my concern is that the 12v rail hasnt got below 12.48v and has jumped up to 13.06v all during idle, and the vcore is supposed to be 1.36 i think and it jumps anywhere from 1.33-1.41v all during idle. should i be concerned about this?

    thanks

Until you don't measure with a DMM you shouldn't be concerned.

I agree with burebista, you shouldn't be concerned until you don't measure it with a DMM.

You shouldn't be concerned until you've confirmed the readings with a digital multimeter.

Basically software is VERY inaccurate for this type of thing. You're better off ignoring software readings entirely.
