    Default Corsair Power Supply Survey

Corsair has put together a small survey of 10 questions relating to what users want and demand in a quality power supply. Please take just a moment to complete the survey. We appreciate your time and value your input as the PSUs are built for you.

OK, I put this survey in some of our forums and I receive a question: why not under 500W for next PSU?
In fact some 300W PSU's would be interesting for HT style PC's.

Well i found it kind of stupid (the 1 to 5 thing) example i had quiet fan on 2 cause 4 and 3 were taken, Either way as long as corsair keeps pumping out great power supplies and a good price i'll keep buying them.

Sales of branded high quality <400W PSUs are almost non-existent. The vast majority of system builders believe they need more power than that, and you can build a 400W for almost the same cost of a 300W or a 250W.

Also, most people buying 250-300W units are buying the cheapest thing possible - some $10 PSU from VagueName Tech.

For example, our CX400 was originally going to be a CX350.

But upon looking into it, we found that making a good quality 350W product costs just about the same as making a good quality 400W product. (the price ramps up noticeably when going to 450 or 500 though).

I doubt it's economically sound, but I'd like to see a decent microATX unit, exactly for the same reason, the HTPC crowd.

Same here. I have a PC that is currently housed in a case made of LEGOs because I don't have a PSU that would fit in the original case, and the ones that are out there I wouldn't trust.

Corsair I think all you really need to do is just keep doing what you have been doing.
