    Default PSU question

    Hi,
At the moment i am using a silverstone Zeus 850W. Since i saw so many great reviews of the Corsair HX 620i was wondering if it will be worth it upgrading to the corsair fromt he silverstone?
Since the Zeus has 850W compared to the Corsair 620W might seem liek a mistake but since i saw so many great reviews of the corsair i do nto know what to do=)
Only video card i use is an evga 8800 ultra.

There is no need to change your PSU. What you have in there is overkill as it is.
    Software readings are crap.

The Silverstone Zeus has some great reviews too.

If it is giving you no problems, then there should be no reason to switch it out. The only problem I see with the older Zeus is the lack of 8 pin PCI-E cables.

Yeah, get the PCIE 6 to 8 pin adaptor(s) for your PSU -should you need it, it's already a great unit as it is.

That's my PSU when it was new.
She's been thru hell and back since jG slapped her around with 850W.
I do sorely wish it had the 8-pins, but I woulden't give this PSU up unless it takes a dirt nap and I don't think it will be anytime soon with my rig
In other words: Keep the Zeus!
