Default remember the Doom 3 case?

Even if the game is passe, the case-mod is amazing. worklog thread the final post has several high quality images of the finished case. It's hard to believe it started out as a humble Antec Super-Lanboy

I recently retired my Super Lanboy to the living room (it's now housing the system I built for my mother and sister), when I got my Lian-Li Rocketfish full tower for $50. It's still a great case, but it was becoming a bit too restrictive for my needs.

I had considered doing something like that a while back, but in a Star Wars theme; but ultimately the idea never panned out. Still though, kit-bashing is fun, and is what led to the creation of quite a few of the Star Wars props/sets.

The guy even had enough money to send it up to Mars for one of NASA's rovers to photograph....neat.

Looks like the theatre that Activision/Id had built to air the trailers/demos at E3 many moons ago.

My rig started slide-showing at the Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3eeeeee cafe
When you close the shudders and the lights come on, I was in the high teens.
Knocked it down to 8xAA, everything is dandy!
It's nice to see the old warhorse in widescreen

That is an awesome job done on that case. Crimson Sky has a excellent eye for detail.
