Default Testing shows no error. but yet symptoms appears now n then.

my rig is shown in my sign. so here is the problem.

my desktop windows, programs, etc. start looking funny after a long use. say 5-6 hrs. n many application fails to start saying they are not win32 application. n on top of that. i cant copy paste anything. usually ill restart, n my pc will work fine again for 5-6 hrs. this started to happen recently, round friday. just yesterday i got my first BSOD. n i found the code. which happen to be

after reading about it, it seems like memory issues. so i tested my rams with memtest84+ for almost 6 hrs. n not a single error. then, i tested my cpu with torture test of prime (used Blend test). for another 5 hrs. n again no errors shown. so i thought ok, maybe i was imagining things. after i used my pc for 2 hrs n boom, same things happened.

the only new thing i added to my rig was a 120mm fan. which was more than one week ago.

    any help appreciated.

yeah, while testing. i was checking voltage levels on speedfan. there was the usual cpu vdroop. n i saw my ram voltage changing. between 1.79-1.77v. knowing my rams are usual ones with 1.8v.

yes, my cpu is overclocked. but it is being like this since i got this rig 5 months ago. although my ram are not overclocked. nor the timings are tight. they are very relaxed at 5-5-5-15.

    again, HELP ME.

    What temperatures do you have?
In Event Viewer do you have some logs about errors?
Try to revert everything at stock speeds.
Did you install new software/drivers recently?
Do a AV scan and anti-malware scan.

How much RAM do you have and how many sticks of it?

Is it what's in your sig? Two 1GB sticks?

If so, try one stick at a time and see if you can reproduce those errors.

n this is how it starts, with wrong display, either things disappearing, or color defects.

Can you attach *.dmp file(s) from C:\Windows\Minidump (that folder is hidden).
I want to take a look into them.
Also try a anti-spyware scan with SuperAntispyware.

Doesn't matter. I've had Memtest pass bad RAM before. Could be that it only errors out when a certain combination of addresses are written to and/or read.

Last dump from 21.04.2008 is a crash in nv4_disp.dll and you're working with modeler.exe
At first sight it seems like a video driver problem, but try to uninstall matroska codecs and see what's happens.

First dump from 18.01.2008 is in klif.sys. This is your Kaspersky.

ok, here is extra info regarding that matroska.

when i installed it first time, it crashed at the end, (i tried twice, n it crashed twice). so when i tried to uninstall it. the uninstall.exe wasnt there, n if i try to do that through control panel>add remove programs, it will tell me the program is not there!. so i downloaded the installer again. did fresh install. n watched some mkv files. n right now, as we speak. im running a engineering simulator which is consuming my 2GB ram n goes to normal level of ram usage (500,700MB) like 6 times in the last 10 mins. the simulation being running for the last 30 mins. n it still has long way to go.

n yet i c no symptoms. so hopefully it was bad software install which was causing the issue.

coz im really not welling to RMA any part right now. since i need to finish my project like in 1-2 monthes time. n even one day without cpu will be a killer.
