    Default Digital PWM?

What are the advantages of going digital over analog? I know DFI is currently the only one to implement it in their high end motherboards, and I thought it was impressive - can digital deliver ultra stable power?

But I remember from a review I read on a DFI w/ D-PWM that they found it couldn't over clock that well.

    Thoughts/opinions?

There is more to VRM design than just the PWM/PLL. Sometimes plain old analog designs are better than digital designs. Digital PLL/PWM's have been used for a long time in the server segment.
