    Default APFC and UPS

I've been doing some reading on why Liberty's seem to be exploding, and apparently Enermax has listed the problem as pairing the APFC with a UPS that puts out step approximated sine waveforms instead of a true sine waveform.

tl;dr Pairing a step sine UPS with APFC - anything to worry about? I DID have a GxS and a SxS from OCZ plugged into it and powering my computer for a long time without explosions, so now I'm probably shivering from FUD.

Edit: I should probably add that my UPS actually only kicks in if something wrong happens - otherwise my PSU is eating juice from the wall. Oh wait, I just answered my own question ;(, but I'm still generally curious.
