    Question Good deal? Good PSU?

SVC is having a sale on Coolermaster PSU's right now...some free after rebate, some fairly cheap (or should I say reasonable?).
I'm looking at the RS-850-EMBA REAL POWER PRO.
I'm sure that it's more than I need, but perhaps I can tell myself i'm covered for the future.
I guess I'm curious as to whether this is a good deal and/or PSU.
    Comments?
    Thanks.

I was thinking about getting this since it's so cheap after MIR, what do you guys think? It's either this or the 450w Corsair, but that would leave me little room to upgrade later.

IMO it is a great deal after rebate. I remember reading somewhere that Enhance is the OEM.

What about fitting it in the Elite 330 case (it's fairly small)? I'm just trying to think where I'd hide all those cables lol.

Should fit that case just fine, except for that case being really cheap compared to the PSU. I've got one of those cases, and I'd rather have the PSU, haha. With no side window, who cares where the cables go!

I see it's now gone up to $69.99 AR.
Still haven't pulled the trigger...guess the longer I wait the more it'll go up...hehehe.

    Yes, Enhance make good PSU's.

There are a lot of companies that have 850W PSU's from Enhance afaik(CM, Silverstone, Zalman, etc)

assuming you didn't need something more powerful than the pc power 610 or corsair 620, and regardless of price, would this still be considered an upgrade?

If no, how about compared to the OCZ game 700?

I saw the 1000 watt version made tier 2 on this website...would this one make tier 2/tier 3?

I need to get a good psu, and this looks really inexpensive...(cheaper than any of those 3 after rebate, like $55 or so cheaper than the pc power/corsairs), but I don't want to just get it because its inexpensive...ill never (at least unless things dramatically change for pcs) need 850, i wont be running ultras in sli so if something like the other pc power is much better reliability/build quality, it may be worth it...

right now, just for sh!!s & giggles I bought one of those cheap cooler master eXtreme powers for 550w for $10, haven't tried it yet.

    thank you in advance.

I found a review, not the best or worst results (was very efficient compared to others)
