Well, after quite a bit of searching I found a sale on Ultra V-Series 500W power supplies, $40 mail-in-rebate, and went a ahead bought it, paving the way for a 7900GT KO.

I checked the 7900GTO it's $60 more and the x1950Pro is Like $70 more, both are not in stock, and don't come with Half Life 2:Episode 1. The cards might be better but it still seems the 7900GT KO is the best deal.

I would pick up the Enhance 500w for about the same price,
    it's a better PSU
BTY: That card, nor any other card comes with HL2:E1.
They give you a coupon with a serial on it,
so you can go download it with your Steam account, hope you have good bandwith
The game is not bad, but it's not worth buying the videocard to get it.

    HL2:E2 is out now also

I agree. I don't think a V-Series 500W is going to be good with a 7900GT. You can get an X-Finity 500W for $25 after rebate at Zip Zoom Fly that would, though.

The Enhance 500W would also be a good choice and more efficient to boot.

I got the V-Series for free (actually $2.56 with tax), after rebate of course, and I heard good things about it, so it made sense, why don't you recommend it? The thing that really got me other then it was free, was it was rated for 500W 12V@26A and the 7900 requires 400W12V@20A.

And I know this is a basic question but whats with dual rails? Are the 12V@16A and 12V@18A in series/parrell or something. Any threads or links for the uneducated?

I really appreciate the help here, it's nice to know I got people who are willing to help.

Now I’m not going to say the V-Series is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. But it does have it’s niche. If you don’t have a lot to spend, it’s a very nice unit.

Why would a man with a 7900GT KO want to run a freebie,sub-par PSU,
    is beyond me

$60+ is not a lot to spend on a Enhance 500w for your hardwares longevity

Well tisoy505 if it makes you feel any better I'm using the Ultra V 500 here also

I think it's a fine upgrade from your Stock Dell 350w PSU.
    Enjoy you new 7900GT

At no point did I say he should use the Vseries PSU. You wanted to see where he could have read good comments on the Vseries so I provided a link where you can find a few good comments on it.
