Just received my new Coolermaster 1000watt modulair PSU. Looks great but it doesn't work...

Tried the following (all connectors firmly into their sockets offcourse):

PSU fully connected:
Fans spin up for 1 sec the PC shuts down again

Only 24pin + 4pin connected:
Fans spin up but (offcourse) 8800gtx starts beeping because pci-e is not connected.

24pin + 4pin + both 6pin to 6pin PCIe connected:
Fans spin up for 1 sec the PC shuts down again

24pin + 4pin + both 8pin to 6pin PCIe connected:
Fans spin up for 1 sec the PC shuts down again

24pin + 4pin + both 6pin to 6pin PCIe connected + bending cables at PCIe connectors end:
Fans spin up but no the screen stays black so no bios or whatsoever

PSU fully connected bending cables at PCIe connectors end:
Fans spin up 1 sec.

PSU fully connected + 1 specific sata connector disconnected (bending doesn't help) + bending cables at PCIe connectors end :
Fans spin up but screen stays black

My setup:
* Coolermaster Real Power M1000 Modular (RS-A00-ESBA)
* DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI - DR (R.AA0) (Bios 704-2 BTA)
* AMD64 4000+ Rev. E - San Diego (S939 - 2.4ghz - 1mb)
* 2gb - OCZ EL DDR PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum (2*1) 2-3-2-5@200mhz@1T
Disks:
WD Raptor WD740ADFD [74GB, 10.000rpm, 16MB, SATA1]
WD Raptor WD1500ADFD [150GB, 10.000rpm, 16MB, SATA1]
Seagate 7200.10 [750GB, 7.200rpm, 16MB, SATA2]
WD Caviar 4000KD [400GB, 7.200rpm, 16MB, SATA1]
WD Raptor 740GD [74GB, 10.000rpm, 8MB, SATA1
Seagate 200GB sata1 drive
* EVGA 8800GTX 768mb (since dec. 06)
* Lite-On LDW-811S 8x IDE

Everything is clocked standard and running perfectly fine at the moment (and for the last two years) on my old Tagan 480watt -U22 PSU. No other components have been changed except for the PSU.

To me this is really weird. Never encountered this in my 15years of building pc's for myself. Normally a PSU is simply plug & play..

Anybody here who has an idea or seen this before?

Thx!
