    Post Seasonic S12II series SS-500GB

I noticed the Seasonic SS-500GB listed on AMD's recommended power supply page http://ati.amd.com/products/certifie...rsupplies.html has the new 2x4 PCIe power plug.

Some more searching identified this is a Seasonic S12II model.

Does anyone know when the Seasonic S12II series will reach US retailers?

I know they are floating around in review circles so I would guess over the summer.

    I'll ask my Seasonic contact. I think it's just an S12 500W with 6+2 PCI-e's instead of the "old" 6-pin PCI-e's.

I sent a note to Seasonic and Warren responded that the SS-500GB will reach retailers in the USA in July.

    S-12 430 rev.A3 is all sleeved and with 1 PCI-E connector.

Did anyone ever get that response from SPCR about their ripple testing procedures?
