    Default Well guys...

It was good. We had our ups and downs, I've pissed people off, I've made friends, but overall it was good.

I'm going to be joining the Air Force. See you all in six.

    Doh!

    The air force, eh?

Is this sudden or something you've been thinking about for a while?

I wonder if you'll end up in MacDill AFB.

Good luck Paul. Might I ask what your MOS will be?

    Hooooo Raaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh

I wish they'd take me back (The Army) but unfortunately they have no need of broken down old captains with bad knees and feet and diabetes....

Try for Korea.......or Germany.....ask for as many overseas assignments as you can....stateside duty always sucked...to much by the book where overseas things were more mission oriented (scrounge or steal what you need to get the job done)

You'll make friends and have experiences that will last a lifetime..............

I don't have an MOS mapped out that I specifically want. I want to fly, but I can't fly jets because of my glasses (vision isn't that bad, just near sighted a bit ). I'm hoping to talk to a recruiter today.

I know that I want to sign for six, and then get stationed in McChord. I'd like to be close to home.

I thought that the only ones with a half of brain were the Marines. ( No disrespect intended towards USMC, heck I had less problems in dealing with Marines, than with active duty Army while serving in National Guard )
