Default Three Weeks With the Ultra X3

After reading MM's review of the X3 I decided to ditch my long loyalty to PC P&C and make a change. Three weeks later I am very happy. The first thing I noticed is that it is silent and I mean silent. Then again, compared to PC 1Kw I suppose most PSU's are silent. The second thing that I love about this PSU is the cables. These are in my mind the best cables that I have ever come across. They are flat, metallic and very easy to work with. Thirdly the modular connectors are excellent and allow a great amount of flexibility. I must also say that the size of the X3 compared to the 1Kw was quite welcome. I always buy "Tier 1" components, especially when it comes to PSU's, but I am glad that I ventured out this time.
This is truly a great site with excellent information, reviews and and an excellent forum.
If you want an outstanding 1Kw PSU for a very reasonable price, you cannot go wrong with the X3.

Mine are metallic, something like black with a little overspray of titanium? Go figure, but they look nice.

I'm glad that you like it, I'm loving mine. It's kinda like a brick that can put out power... big, solid and strong.

BTW, the m's aren't capitalized, I'm not important enough for capital letters

I'm starting to think this is going to be my next PSU. It's between this and the TT 1200
