HAHAHHA... Come on dude, I've got to worry about heat n' shit right?

I don't want to have to adjust voltages when I overclock... call me the "safe overclocker".

BTW, any good stability programs you know to run after you OC a graphics card?

Just use Coolbits or ATI Tool or Rivatuner
You can OC the snot out of that card on stock volts
You can take care of the heat with good air flow

    Corsair H70
    4x4Gb GSkill Ripjaws 16Gb 1600

    2x750Gb Seagate Barracuda's RAID 0

So what do you think I can do with stock volts and my little 7900 GS (Not your GT by the way)?

It's a place holder until I get enough money together for a 8800GTS anyways.

    P.S. I do have Rivatuner....

500/1380 stock for KO, what you have
My personal best with the same model card=585/1520 with stock volts
I'm sure if I had it longer, I could have gone higher

I already have it pushed to 550/1440 at stock volts... I think that's good enough for me, given your great success with maintaining stability on your EVGA cards...

Your GDDR3 memory is good for 1500 on that card, easily
My 7900GT OCing has nothing to do with the bad memory it shipped with

What happens if I oc it too high?

Also, I think my P4 is bottlenecking my card either way I go, so I think my best bet is buying a new C2D and then squeezing performance out of everything else. :P

That P4 "is" a set back for that 7900GS, but who cares? Even more reason to OC that mofo futher

If you get to high, your shit will either lock up, or get buggy enough to notice
Just back it down to you find it stable enough for say, ATI Tool artifact scanner, or play your favorite game for a few hours to see if she crash and burns
If you fry it, no worries mate, eVGA has a lifetime warranty
Just make sure you register it at eVGA.com
