I ordered a drone online back in March. Then the COVID pandemic shut down their factory and orders stopped shipping.

I pretty much forgot about it.

Day before Thanksgiving, a box arrives. HOLY CRAP! It's the drone I ordered 8 months ago!

Super anxious to fire it up. They won't let you fly it without an SD card to capture video.

I DON'T WANT TO CAPTURE VIDEO RIGHT NOW! I JUST WANT TO FLY!

Nope.

Now... normally, I have SD cards all over the place. Different capacities, speeds, etc.

I've looked all over this damn house and I can't find A SINGLE ONE now.

Had to go on Amazon and order one. Won't be here until tomorrow night.

I know.. right?

The app just says "no SD card detected" and that's it. I go into settings and you can't even turn off the cameras. Only the audio.

I mean.. obviously the cameras are required to fly by sight, but it doesn't have to record!!! Or is that a new FAA requirement?

Yeah, my favorite story was a CAD program I ordered.
It didn't have drivers to print on the old dot matrix, and it didn't have drivers to print on HP laserjets.

That had to be 90% of printers in existence at that time.
I mean you expected some delays in drivers in the old days of the PC start-up...but that took the cake.

I can make a drawing...I just have no means of output? and you shipped this product?

Oh, this is very sad and unfair. To be honest, I don't care about the video either, I like flying.
